I was DM'd on twitter by a follower to make a list of comedy anime since this person found my other recommendation lists useful. So here it is. I would like to preface this list by saying the majority of the anime here have elements of comedy within it. In other words most of the anime listed do not focus solely on comedy, they have elements of comedy distributed throughout the anime. However the anime titles which do focus on comedy I will mark them with an asterisk (*) next to the titles.
If you're looking for some comic relief I'd suggest checking out the titles that I have listed. If this list somewhat looks familiar it's probably because a few of these titles are romantic comedies, copied and pasted from my romance anime recommendations/list I posted before. And as usual all the titles I have listed below are based on anime I have seen so far. So if you do not see an anime that is under the comedy genre not seen here, please feel free to comment in the comment section below and I will either add it to the list if I have seen it or I will add it to my backlog to watch later. Anyways I hope you enjoy this list and find it useful!

The lack of sports anime seen on a seasonal basis is somewhat unsettling for me. Unsettling because the presence of sports anime should be more precedence since the majority of the sports anime I have seen so far (and it's not many) have all been great, and rarely disappointing. As someone who's not that big of a fan of watching sports in real life, there's something about the magic of the anime world that's able to create the action of watching sports in the form of anime appealing. Since volleyball is my favourite sport, naturally I was excited when Haikyuu was announced since it's premises surrounds volleyball.

On the outside looking in Amagi Brilliant Park looks like an anime that is geared towards children. And you know what you might be right about that. Does that mean you won't enjoy this anime? That's up to you. In an anime where are talking mascots, fairies, and talking dragons it's hard for anyone who's not in elementary school to enjoy this anime wholeheartedly.

When was the last time you saw a sequel to an anime and thought to yourself, "this was way better than the prequels." Rarely. Am I correct? Well with the third instalment of to Kami nomi zo Shiru Sekai franchise, I can promise you that this instalment surpasses the previous two.

Nine months ago, the Tokyo Ghoul adaptation dropped and was welcomed with content by many fans. The first instalment did not disappoint many and ended on somewhat of a high point with lots of momentum. The issue with sequels is that the majority of them do not continue with that same momentum; and unfortunately the√A sequel did not fair that well and left me with lukewarm feelings by the end.

The genre of sports seems to be a genre that most people stray away from, this extends to the lack of sports anime put out there by the industry these days. Besides from Kuroko no Basket, there are other sports anime (not a lot) that I have watched and would like to share in this next list.
Due to the fact that there has not been many sports anime put out there, compared to the rest of the genres, this list of sport recommendations will be short. And unlike the other lists of anime I have created on this blog, this list will be separated by the type of sport rather than by alphabetical order.
Now although this list maybe short, I must say that the sports genre is a genre that I have watched and has never, to this date, been disappointed by the titles that I have watched so far. Unlike other genres of anime I have watched, they have been either a hit or a miss. However the sports genre in anime have ALWAYS been a hit for me and I throughly enjoyed every title I have watched so far.
Some of these anime you will see in this list are very under-appreciated and seem to be shadowed by overhyped anime, resulting in not many people getting exposure to these titles. And as usual if you do not see an anime in this title that should be on this list, mention it in the comments section and I will either add it, if I have seen it, or I will add it to my backlog. Sorry for my longish monologue, I hope you enjoy this short list!

Ao Haru Ride is just another typical shoujo school romance with familiar repeated storylines, love rivals, predictable dialogue and generic characters. Does this mean this anime is not worth watching? Absolutely not. As someone who is guilty of watching many shoujo romances, I knew this anime would be put in my backlog the moment I heard it was coming out.

To add to my growing library of resources I'm going to make a list of action anime that I have watched over the years. The genre of action seems to be the common denominator for everyone in terms of appeal. Unlike other genres action seems to have the ability to grasp the viewer's attention and submerge them into binge watching.
Some of my favourites below that I have shamelessly binge watched are: Elfen Lied, Attack on Titan, Parasyte, Code Geass, Tokyo Ghoul and Mirai Nikki. Not to say the others listed below are not good, but these are the titles I recall watching episode after episode after episode.
As usual these lists are based off of the anime I have watch so far. So if you do not see an action anime that is listed below please comment down below so I can either add it to the list if I have already watched it or I will add it to my backlog. These lists are dynamic, meaning that they will be updated as time goes by with my anime watching.
Judging from the feedback I get online and looking at the popularity of my posts so far, these anime lists seem to be the most useful and most popular. I will continue to make these posts for the rest of the genres very soon. So I hope you enjoy the gathering of action anime I have listed below.

Hello readers! To continue my expansion of resources, I've decided to make a list of anime under the genre of slice of life. Slice of life happens to be one of my favourite genres of anime to watch simply due to the fact that there's no plot, so following the anime throughout it's entirety technically should not be difficult. And since slice of life anime do not have a general plot, these particular anime tend to be very relaxing to watch.
For those who don't know what slice of life is, the definition of slice of life in anime, from the web is: a genre that uses slice-of-life story telling methods and often parallels teen melodrama, there is also an emphasis on seasonality and procedures which is often a characteristic found in slice of life anime and manga.
So here's a comprehensive list of slice of life anime I have watched and enjoyed. If you know of a slice of life anime that you liked watching but is not on this list, please feel free to comment down below and I'll add it if I have already watched it or I'll add it to my backlog! As with these lists on my blog they will be updated with the anime I watch in the future. Anyways I hope you enjoy.

Hey guys I get a lot of questions for anime recommendations. So I'll be making a section in my blog called "Resources" where my readers can find my useful blogposts on lists of anime by genre and other useful posts that are not reviews.
This post I will be making a list of romance anime; all my lists are BASED ON ANIME I HAVE WATCHED SO FAR (caps necessary). So if you don't see an anime listed of the particular genre, that means I have not seen it. So leave a comment down below in the comment section and I'll add it to my backlog. I will be listing the titles of the anime in alphabetical order (kinda) with images of the anime in my lists. More anime will be added to the lists overtime.
