With the closure of Kuroko no Basket I thought I would do a review on one of the most popular anime out there. The genre of sports in anime seems to be the least popular among all the other genres. With the widespread popularity of Kuroko no Basket, the entire franchise is able to breathe new life into a genre that’s often overshadowed by other dominating genres in anime. This is a review for all three seasons since the anime is one continuous story chopped up into three seasons, no point in writing three separate reviews.

With the Mars One mission being everywhere in the news lately the colonization of Mars has been an interest for various countries to set fourth on this unique frontier. Aldnoah Zero gives us a fictitious representation of what it’s like once the colonization of Mars becomes a reality. Of course this is a sci-fi anime and things are represented in forms that are anything but reality-based, but hey there’s nothing wrong with a little imagination (or a lot).

School can be a difficult phase for most people especially in today's age since there's a lack of educators that go above and beyond for their students. Within my 4 years of high school there was only one teacher who really strived to get his students to do the best they can by providing an endless amount of help (shoutout to my grade 12 chemistry teacher). With each episode of Assassination Classroom, the storylines reminds us that there are still good teachers out there; however since we're in the anime world of course there's a twist that Assassination Classroom uses in order to convey this message.

I'm assuming that most people who watch anime have never heard the term "karuta" before. Never mind let me rephrase that since I'm assuming most people don't even understand Japanese anyways haha. So, I'm assuming most people have never heard of the sport/ card game called "karuta." Having said that if I said that karuta was a game revolving a deck of cards; I can only assume that the majority of people would be running away from Chihayafuru like the plague since that's what this anime is based upon. If you have those tendencies to not watch Chihayafuru because it's an anime revolving around a card game, you are immensely mistaken for the masterpiece that is known as Chihayafuru. Yes Chihayafuru is based on a card game, but don't minimize this anime because of that fact since this anime has more to offer than just a bunch of people playing a card game.

Since spring is about to come to an end and summer is just around the corner. Most of us are probably out and about/ free for the summer. What better way to spend your summer than watching some to good hearted romantic comedies, right?
Since I've never done something like a "top ten list" before on my blog, it would only make sense to make my first top ten list about my top ten favourite anime couples. This list is based upon my preferences, so don't get discouraged if you do not see your favourite anime couples on this list. I hope you enjoy this list and if you think I should have listed an OTP that should be on this list, leave it in the comment section below!
10. Sorata Kanda and Mashiro Shiina (Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo)
First on the list are two extremely talented artists. Sorata was enlisted to take care of Mashiro, however as time went by his duties became less of a chore and both of their feelings for each other began to grow stronger and stronger. I know in the anime they have not been officiated as a couple yet, but it's obvious that it's bound to happen.

What an interesting ride Sidonia no Kishi has been, initially this anime was recommended to me by someone on BasilMarket in a anime recommendations forum. I did no research on the anime other than reading comments that said this anime was really one of the under appreciated and best of spring 2014. So I downloaded the anime that summer but didn't bother to watch it until a year later. After watching the first episode I had my doubts about continuing with the anime since the computer graphics where so not what I'm accustomed to and to be honest not that appealing when you first place your eyes on it. But thankfully I was able to get over that and enjoy a spectacle of an anime.
