Akatsuki no Yona Review

Aside from the majority of reverse harems I haven seen, Akatsuki no Yona has to be one of my favourites; it's up there with Ouran High School Host Club. After suffering and recuperating from watching a horrendous reverse harem known as Diabolik Lovers, I thought it would be fitting to review a reverse harem that's the complete opposite of Diabolik Lovers in terms of: plot, characters, setting... actually every aspect now that I think about it.

Terra Formars Review

ACTION

Wow, where to being with Terra Formars… there so much buzz about this anime when it was airing since the manga was so popular. So I caught clips of the first episode and I immediately dropped it because the heavy censorship annoyed me; there was nothing but black boxes covering every intense scene. I decided to wait until the season was done so that the uncensored version of Terra Formars was released and from there I picked up the series from beginning. The anime left a bitter taste in my mouth, as with most people.

Welcome to my review/ rant for this anime! If you're looking for an amazing reverse harem, please save a few of your brain cells by not watching Diabolik Lovers. If you're into watching men be total douchebags to women or like seeing women being way too submissive, this anime is right up your alley. To the rest of the world, save yourself some time and don't bother entering what I like to call "the dark side of anime."

Kimi to Boku. Review

COMEDY

I’ve always enjoyed lovely surprises, and that’s exactly what I got when I randomly decided to start the Kimi to Boku series. The story of the entire franchise is a bit daunting since the idea about a slice of life anime surrounding the life of five guys in high school can come off as boring to most people. To my surprise I found myself enjoying the anime, especially the second season, way more than I anticipated by the time the final episode aired. It’s been about three years since I finished the second season and I’m still waiting for a sequel! This review is applicable to both the first season and the second season.

Top 10 Male Anime Characters

LIST

Thanks to this pin on Pinterest, my Top 10 Anime Couples post has become extremely popular on my blog, way more than what I expected it to be. So with that being said I decided to compose a list of my top 10 favourite male anime characters, counterpart to my Top 10 Favourite Female Anime Characters post.

This list is based on my favourite male anime characters. It's not a list of who I think are the best of the best males in the anime world, just a list of male characters I remember vividly or like a lot. I'll try my best to explain why some of these characters are my favourite since a couple of them have meaning behind them. The rest of the characters who don't have meaning behind them I probably like because of their personality/designs. Anyways please enjoy!

10. Inaho Kaizuka (Alnoah. Zero)

Ok I know people might think I'm crazy since Aldnoah Zero was pretty bad and the second season was sort of a beautiful train wreck, but I actually liked Inaho. He never fails at anything, and he always gets what he wants! Not to mention that robot eye in the second season, so cool!

Mushishi Zoku Shou 2nd Season Review

FANTASY

It’s been a good decade of yearning for more Mushishi and unfortunately that time has come and for me it’s the end of the final chapter for one of the greatest anime series out there. No comedy, no stereotypical tricks, no salacious gimmicks were needed to draw me into watching Mushishi Zoku Shou 2, just some great story telling.

Nana Review

COMEDY

Love, trust, betrayal, youth, ungratefulness, loneliness and above all, friendship. Just a few words that can describe Nana in a nutshell. As a shoujo fanatic I put Nana in the back burner for years since a 47 episode long anime turned me off and I did not want to waste my time if it wasn't worth the watch. To my surprise the first episode drew me in immediately and as I drew closer and closer to the end of Nana: I found myself being happy that it was 47 episodes long since I realized it would suck if Nana ended at 12 or 24 episodes, and disappointed that such a divine piece of work was coming to an end for me.

Yamada-kun to 7-nin no Majo OVA Review

COMEDY

My Yamada squad can rejoice and praise this amazing anime once again since LINDENFILMS has blessed us with more Yamada. Actually these OVAs aired the same time when the main series was airing, so I just wanted to review a section of the Yamada anime that not many people know about.
